ERICK LINDGREN

POKER PLAYER:
Erick Lindgren

NICKNAME:
E-Dog

POKER STYLE:
Loose-aggressive

FELT ACCESSORIES:
Baseball caps and basketball vests over t-shirts were his style. Full Tilt sponsor branding.

TABLE MANNERS:
Expect to see his highly competitive streak come through in his manner and play.

POKER BLING:
Erick worked hard for his notoriety at the tables, improving his game through avid online play, reportedly playing multiple tables for 30 hours straight at times. He became the first player to receive the WPT Player of the Year award in 2004 and he’s bagged himself a WSOP bracelet along with plenty of hefty cashes. Once a budding athlete, Lindgren now indulges in sports activities with a little more bravado – making a challenge to slam dunk a basketball more interesting by putting a $50k bet on it.

RUMOUR HAS IT:
Lindgren has suffered the ups and downs of being a successful poker pro in his 20’s. He’s no stranger to the five-figure bar bill and his bachelor pad was said to include six plasma TVs, a 65” screen and two dual monitors for watching sports.

FAMOUS PROP BETS:
In addition to his recent pairing with Daniel Negreanu in their POY prop bet at the WSOP 2009 event, Lindgren can be seen making a number of prop bets on the golf course. He and Gavin Smith bet on who could chip a ball into Daniel Negreanu’s face on a sign at Negreanu’s ‘Big Swing’ charity golf event. Smith won so Lindgren bet he could jump over the sign (which was quite high) at double or nothing stakes. He cleared it easily and got his money back.
