Highly analytical and intelligent thought processes, as per his nickname. Lederer is always highly focused at the table attributing some of his style to Zen wisdom.

POKER BLING:
Howard’s won 2 WSOP bracelets and two WPT titles. He’s a TV co-host for Fox’s Poker Superstars and Poker: Learn from the Pros. He also runs Howard Lederer Poker Fantasy Camp. Poker bling runs in the family too – Howard’s sister, Annie Duke, is one of the top female players in history. Howard and Annie made poker history together by being the first sibling pair to make the final table at the WSOP.

RUMOUR HAS IT:
Lederer was one of the first to experiment with No limit Hold’em when it was first introduced in New York in the mid 80’s.

FAMOUS PROP BETS:
A strict vegetarian, Lederer was famously challenged by David Grey to eat a cheeseburger for $10,000. He did it and subsequently bet Grey, who hated olives, to even things up by consuming a shot glass’ worth of them. Grey rejected the offer – now that’s someone who really hates olives!
