In your face, brash and brutally honest, he needles opponents with continuous banter to put them on tilt. At 6′6” he’s an imposing physical as well as vocal presence.

POKER BLING:
Bellande is a nightclub owner and promoter and previous pool shark. Jeff Lisandro became his mentor after beating him at the tables, taking him to Prague to set up a poker room which he managed and where he improved his game. Since killing the competition in Prague, Bobby has cashed in and won several major events and is authoring a book, ‘Broke and Living Like a Millionaire’ which details how he’s lived his luxurious lifestyle despite going broke on a number of occassions.

RUMOUR HAS IT:
Bellande was a reality TV contestant in ‘Survivor: China’ becoming a member of the Fei Long Tribe. He was voted out 8th.

FAMOUS PROP BETS:
A bizarre midnight prop bet saw Tony G challenged by David Saab to WPT LA Poker Classic: Kim Lansing and JR Bellande went one-on-one to dtermine who the best heads-up poker player was. They made the bet more interesting by agreeing the winner could choose the costume the other would have to wear at the next WPT event. Lansing was after Bobby wearing a Tinkerbell outfit while Bobby was hedging for a Wonder Woman get-up for Kim. Lansing lost but it was decided the viewers should decide her fate…TBC!
