JENNIFER HARMAN
POKER PLAYER:
Jennifer Harman
NICKNAME:
Jennifer plays under her own name at Full Tilt Poker.
POKER STYLE:
Aggressive
FELT ACCESSORIES:
Peppy blonde hair and a low cut top amongst the favourites.
TABLE MANNERS:
Jennifer believes she is often underestimated at the table because she is a woman. Her small 5′2” frame and pleasant demeanour mask a powerful presence.
POKER BLING:
Harman is arguably the top all-round female poker player on the pro circuit. She has 2 WSOP bracelets to her name and has had some big wins including her $9m haul from Andy Beal while playing as part of The Corporation (a group of pro players who pooled their resources to play a heads-up in Hold’em against the billionaire). Jennifer also plays 4 nights a week in the Big Game in Las Vegas which nets her around $1m a year if play goes well. She has experienced wins and losses of half a million dollars on regular occassions playing the Bellagio.
RUMOUR HAS IT:
Harman has had two kidney transplants due to a genetic disorder – her mother and sister both died from the same thing. Following her second transplant, Jennifer founded CODA, Creating Organ Donation Awareness. Harman’s made an impression on her male pro counterparts having dated Todd Brunson and Howard Lederer and forming a very close friendship with Daniel Negreanu.
FAMOUS PROP BETS:
Bodog 2009 WSOP Prop Bets: Jennifer Harman is currently favourite at 5:1 along with Kathy Leibert to be the woman lasting the longest out of the female contingent in the Main Event. Annie Duke is at 7:1 as is Rousso, Lieu, Mercier and others.
