POKER BLING:
Rags to riches and riches to rags, Matusow blows his money as fast as he earns it, splashing out on a rock star lifestyle of strippers, drugs and VIP casino parties. His addictive personality led him to a speed addiction and two GA stints. Despite this he has 3 WSOP bracelets to his name.

RUMOUR HAS IT:
Mike did a 6 month jail sentence after being busted for drug running by an undercover cop. He still kept up his game though, managing to lose a reported $250k on NFL games from the jail phones. He’s said to have attention deficit and bipolar disorders.

FAMOUS PROP BETS:
During the 2007 WSOP Mike Matusow and Ted Forrest set up a bet that Matusow would not be able to lose 60Ibs in one year. The self-confessed pizza-eating sloth took to running 12 miles a day but was still 15Ibs short of his target weight just 9 days before official weigh-in. Reportedly he went on the Master Cleanse diet which involved him spending hours in a steam room and only eating a blend of maple syrup, lemon and cayenne pepper for a week. Mike weighed in at 179Ibs on the day to win $100,000 off Forrest.
