NICKNAME:
Tony G

Hyper-aggressive and throws opponents off their game with ’smack’ talking (WPT phrasing).

A sharp tongue and bag of insults readily available.

TABLE MANNERS:
Think ‘The Mouth’ and ‘Poker Brat’, the WPT names ‘Australian Windbag’ is up there with the biggest antagonistic table talkers. His controversial table manners include his infamous and relentless berating of Ralph Perry, Russian poker pro.

POKER BLING:
After his own success at the tables from an early age, Tony G set up his own online poker room, tonygpoker.com. Having bagged tidy earnings from his ongoing poker career, Tony G is still using his name to make waves as a ruthless business man, largely in the online world.

RUMOUR HAS IT:
Tony G was formerly a Rubik’s Cube champion in Lithuania. He also wore a kimono to the Bad Boys of Poker event. While not in keeping with the bad boy image, he stated that he loves the Japanese culture and wearing his $10,000 item feels nice and makes him feel like a warrior!

FAMOUS PROP BETS:
A bizarre midnight prop bet saw Tony G challenged by David Saab to race an ex-pro basketball player over 200m. The perimeters of the bet dictated that Tony G could run normally but the basketball player had to run backwards and complete 150m before Tony G reached 200m. $7,500 is the amount Tony G had to pay out when he lost!
